Heal & Restore PLLC

Our Practice

Heal and Restore practice photo

Heal & Restore PLLC is a professional therapy practice founded by Annette Thomas, LCSW. We present as a practice — we, our therapists, our care — because the work is larger than one brochure line.

We help women, adults, teens and young adults, and families when family support belongs in treatment. Our center of gravity is individual therapy: trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, women’s mental health, ADHD-related strain, and life transitions.

Therapy is designed to help renew your life — structured, goal-oriented, and grounded in clinical precision. We provide secure virtual sessions in North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and South Carolina. Clients must be physically located in the licensed state during session.

Mission

To assist people in achieving a healthier and higher quality of life by providing quality professional mental health therapy to those in need. We want to promote independence and well-being for each of our clients.

Vision

We envision empowering others by advocating that mental health care is a right and not a privilege. We believe all people deserve a place to come as they are, with the full weight of their struggles, conflicts, and grief.

Values

  • Respect — We value and respect every person, honoring their history, cultural values, and community context.
  • Empowerment — We want to see our clients grow, thrive, heal, and make positive changes in their lives.
  • Welcoming environment — Our encouraging environment reduces barriers to participation and receiving appropriate care.

It’s a process that produces results

  • Create your path — Together we build a tailored approach that gives you a clear path toward your goals.
  • Identify the issues — You will learn how to pinpoint the mental and emotional factors blocking growth.
  • Set goals — Once we identify the obstacles, we set unique goals so the work has a concrete direction.
  • Self-exploration — We support a deep dive into past and present so you can practice strategies that last.
  • Maintenance — You become skilled at setting boundaries and taking control of your happiness — then building on what you gained.
